Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and ByteZenix ("ByteZenix," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of bytezenix.in and any related apps, content, or services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, posting content, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf where required by local law.

By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and are not barred from using the Platform under any applicable law.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at bytezenix@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account for deceptive or manipulative purposes (e.g., to inflate votes or evade a suspension).

"User Content" means any questions, answers, comments, projects, ideas, tutorials, code, images, or other material you submit to the Platform.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant ByteZenix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt your User Content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform — including featuring it on the ByteZenix website, YouTube channel, or social media, with attribution to you where reasonably practicable.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content, and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights.

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content
• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights
• Upload malware, exploits, or content designed to disrupt or damage systems
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
• Spam, manipulate votes/rankings, or use bots or scripts to artificially inflate engagement
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without our prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to the Platform's systems
• Use the Platform to promote illegal goods, services, or activities

We may, but are not obligated to, review, moderate, edit, or remove any User Content that we believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or our community guidelines. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations (see Section 0x0D).

ByteZenix does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any User Content, including technical advice, code, or project instructions shared by community members. Use community content at your own discretion and risk.

The ByteZenix name, logo, branding, design, and underlying software (excluding User Content) are the property of ByteZenix and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or use our branding without prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of ByteZenix's intellectual property to you, and nothing transfers ownership of your User Content to us beyond the license described in Section 0x04.

The Platform relies on third-party services such as Cloudinary (media storage), Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (analytics), and GoDaddy (domain/DNS). The Platform may also link to or display content from third-party websites (e.g., GitHub, YouTube). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service or website.

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a notice to bytezenix@gmail.com including:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The exact URL or location of the allegedly infringing content on the Platform
• Your contact information (name, email, address)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

We will review valid notices and may remove or disable access to the reported content.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED/ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

ByteZenix does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any User Content, including technical, coding, or hardware advice. Any reliance on such content is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteZenix and its founders/contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on User Content — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold ByteZenix harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, our community guidelines, or applicable law.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., User Content license already granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) will continue to apply after termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your home jurisdiction, any disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [City, State, India — to be added].

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the details of our Grievance Officer are provided below for resolving complaints regarding content on the Platform:

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
